4.\nAdopt a Resolution approving the California State-Subdivision Agreement Regarding\nDistribution and Use of Settlement Funds with Eight Opioid Manufacturers\nPrepared by: Sean Joyce, City Manager\nRecommendation: Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City to enter into Settlement\nAgreements with eight opioid manufacturers (Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior,\nMylad, Sun and Zydus) to resolve lawsuits accusing opioid manufacturers of mishandling\nopioid pain drugs, agree to the terms of the related State-Subdivision Agreement, and\nauthorize entry into the related State-Subdivision Agreement with the Attorney General.
