Item No. 25. 2023-0192 CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO\nCONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH JA URBAN, INC.\nPROVIDING FUNDS AND TIME EXTENSION FOR\nADDITIONAL WORK FOR PROJECT NO.1656 -\nCOMMUNITY CENTER UPGRADE\nRecommendation: 1. APPROVE Amendment No. 1 to the Construction Contract with\nJA Urban, Inc. for Project No. 1656 - Community Center Upgrade,\nto cover the cost of the additional work and the construction delays\ncaused by design changes due to site conditions and supply chain\nissues.\n2. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of construction contingency in the\namount of (2%) $37,137.00 for any other work that may be\nnecessary to complete the project.\n3.
