CONSIDER APPROVAL OF FORMS, AGREEMENTS AND RESOLUTION NO. 25-122 ALLOWING THE\nCITY OF CARSON TO PARTICIPATE IN ADDITIONAL NATIONAL OPIOID SETTLEMENTS WITH\nSECONDARY MANUFACTURES ALVOGEN, AMNEAL, APOTEX, HIKMA, INDIVIOR, MYLAN, SUN AND\nZYDUS (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE Settlement Agreements and Combined Subdivision Participation and Release\nForm for the City’s participation in the National Opioid Settlement Agreements with Alvogen,\nAmneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun and Zydus.\n— 2. APPROVE the Eight California State-Subdivision Agreements Regarding Distribution and\nUse of Settlement Funds relating to the National Opioid Settlement Agreements with Alvogen,\nAmneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun and Zydus.\n— 3. ADOPT Resolution No. 25-122 approving and authorizing the City Manager to carry out all\nnecessary acts such that the City can participate in the National Opioid Settlements with\nAlvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun and Zydus, including signing necessary\ndocuments and transmittal thereof as necessary.
