Item 100:\nClick Here to Submit a\nComment\nAuthorization to Enter Into and Sign a Cooperative Procurement Contract with 72\nHour LLC, (Doing Business as National Auto Fleet Group) for the Purchase of\nAutomobiles, SUVs, Vans, and Light Trucks with Related Equipment and\nAccessories.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThis action is to approve an optional one-year extension for an additional $40,000,000 for\na total not-to-exceed amount of $132,000,000 with 72 Hour LLC, doing business as\nNational Fleet Auto Group, for the City's Light Duty vehicle purchases.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\n(R-2026-80)\nResolution authorizing the Mayor, or designee, on the City’s behalf, to enter into and sign\nthe First Amendment to a Cooperative Procurement Contract with 72 Hour LLC (doing\nbusiness as National Auto Fleet Group), to update the Contract Administrator contact\ninformation; increase the compensation by $40,000,000, bringing the not to exceed\namount of the Contract to a total of $132,000,000; and otherwise modify the Contract\nunder the terms and conditions contained in the First Amendment to the Contract, for the\npurchase of Automobiles, SUVs, Vans, and Light Trucks with Related Equipment and\nAccessories for the City’s light duty fleet as-needed, for a term extending through\nNovember 8, 2026 which includes the one-year extension period, and related funding\nactions.\nCommittee Actions Taken:\nThis item was heard at the Budget & Government Efficiency Committee meeting on\nSeptember 10, 2025.\nACTION: Motion by Council President Pro Tem Lee, second by Councilmember EloRivera, to recommend Council approval of staff’s proposed actions.\nVOTE: 3-1; Foster III-yea, Lee-yea, Elo-Rivera-yea, Moreno-nay.\nDepartment of General Services: Gina Dulay, (619) 527-7594\nCity Attorney Contact: Markecia Simmons
