14. CONSIDERATION TO AMEND THE FIREFIGHTER CLASSIFICATION TO ESTABLISH\nTHE POSITION OF FIREFIGHTER TRAINEE\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the modification of the Firefighter classification to create a Firefighter\nTrainee classification; and\n2. Authorize Human Resources to update the City’s job description accordingly.
