CONSIDERATION TO AUTHORIZE THE ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING FROM THE\n2024 URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVE GRANT AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$138,493 AND APPROVE THE SUBAWARD AGREEMENT\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager or designee to accept a grant award of $138,493 from\nthe 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI)\n2. Authorize the appropriation of revenue and expenditures in the amount of $138,493\nto the Grant Fund; and\n3. Approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the UASI 2024\nSubaward Agreement and related documents to purchase equipment that supports\nregional homeland security goals
