(19) 23-0028 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (PRICE – HARRIS-DAWSON) relative to urging Republic Services, Inc. (Republic Services) and Teamsters Local 396 to bargain in good faith and to come to an agreement expeditiously on a new collective bargaining agreement.  Recommendation for Council action: RESOLVE that the City of Los Angeles urges Republic Services and Teamsters Local 396 to bargain in good faith and to come to an agreement expeditiously on a new collective bargaining agreement that will avoid a labor dispute that could negatively impact public health and the residents and businesses in South Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
