(40) 23-1200-S67 HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the appointment of Mr. Wells Lawson to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles Board of Commissioners. Recommendation for Council action: RESOLVE that the Mayor’s appointment of Mr. Wells Lawson to the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles Board of Commissioners for the term ending June 30, 2026, is APPROVED and CONFIRMED. Mr. Lawson currently resides in Council District 13. Mr. Lawson will fill the vacancy created by Taelor Bakewell, whom the Mayor removed effective May 5, 2023 or at the time Ms. Bakewell's successor is confirmed by the City Council.
