(11) 23-0051 BUDGET, FINANCE AND INNOVATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the below market value sale of one 2003 Ford E250 van to About My Father’s Business, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Blumenfield – Hernandez): FIND that About My Father’s Business is eligible to purchase one 2003 Ford E250 van (VIN No. 1FTNE24L93HB87879) at below market value ($1.00) in accordance with the Los Angeles Administrative Code Section 22.547 (Donation of Surplus City Equipment), as the recipient in a non-profit organization that has been established exclusively to further the services provided by the City. REQUEST the City Attorney to prepare a contract to effectuate the sale and transfer of the above identified surplus equipment at below market value to About My Father’s Business, as expeditiously as possible. INSTRUCT the City Clerk to inform About My Father’s Business [Kathy Huck, (805) 428-2881, 7210 Jordan Avenue, No. C61, Canoga Park, California 91303] that the surplus equipment must be claimed within 90 days from the date of Council approval of the request after which time it will revert to the City’s surplus equipment pool for disposal by the Department of General Services.
