(23) 23-0008-S2 CD 8 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (HARRIS-DAWSON – HUTT) relative to oversized vehicle parking restrictions along both sides of West 22nd Street between South Normandie Avenue and South Vermont Avenue in Council District 8. Recommendations for Council action: RESOLVE, pursuant to the Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 80.69.4, and the California Vehicle Code Section 22507, to prohibit the parking of vehicles that are in excess of 22 feet in length or over 7 feet in height, during the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., along both sides of West 22nd Street between South Normandie Avenue and South Vermont Avenue. RESOLVE that upon the adoption of the Resolution, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) be directed to post signs giving notice of a "tow away, no parking” restriction for oversized vehicles, with the specific hours detailed, at the above locations. RESOLVE that the LADOT be authorized to make technical corrections or clarifications to the above instructions in order to effectuate the intent of the Resolution.
