(7) 21-0538 GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to best practices in procurement and potential changes to the City's procurement and contracting practices to ensure that the City gets the best-advertised price for purchased goods. Recommendation for Council action: NOTE and FILE the Motion (Krekorian – Raman) relative to directing the Department of General Services (GSD), with the assistance of the City Attorney and the City Administrative Officer, to report on best practices in procurement and potential changes to the City's procurement and contracting practices to ensure that the City gets the best-advertised price for purchased goods.
