(9) 22-1416 ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to authorizing the Community Investment for Families Department (CIFD) to accept and execute two grant agreements from the State of California, Office of Traffic Safety for the Child Passenger Safety Program and Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, CIFD, or designee, to: Retroactively accept and execute grant agreements with the State of California, Office of Traffic Safety in the amounts of $155,500 for the Child Passenger Safety Program, and $225,437 for the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program, for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form.
