(21) 17-1434-S5 MOTION (BLUMENFIELD - RODRIGUEZ - PARK) relative to authorizing the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) to apply for the 2023 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for funding for a new engine company, adding 12 firefighter positions. Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief, or designee, to take all necessary actions to apply for the 2023 SAFER grant no later than March 17, 2023.  Motion (Blumenfield - Rodriguez - Park) dated 3-03-23
