(9) 23-0002-S22 RULES, ELECTIONS, AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to establishing the City's position in the 2023-24 State Legislative Program for legislation and/or administrative action to ensure that City projects, designed to provide quality broadband access in dense, high-need urban areas of the City, including South Los Angeles, are eligible for Senate Bill (SB) 156 grant funding. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Harris-Dawson - Hernandez), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2023-2024 State Legislative Program, SUPPORT for legislation and/or administrative action to ensure that City projects, designed to provide quality broadband access in dense, high-need urban areas of the City, including South Los Angeles, are eligible for SB 156 grant funding.
