(15) 23-0280 CD 2 MOTION (KREKORIAN - MCOSKER) relative to funding for various community beautification services in Council District 2. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: TRANSFER and APPROPRIATE $158,338 in the Council District 2 portion of the Neighborhood Service Enhancements line item in the General City Purposes Fund No. 100-56 to the Board of Public Works Fund No. 100-74, Account No. 3040 (Contractual Services) to be used for various beautification / maintenance efforts and services in Council District 2 coordinated by the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, as further detailed in the text of this Motion. INSTRUCT and AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works, Office of Community Beautification to prepare, process and execute the necessary documents with, and/or payments to, the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, or any other agency or organization, in the above amount for the above purpose, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form. AUTHORIZE the Department of Public Works Office of Accounting to make any corrections, clarifications or needed new instructions, to the above fund transfer instructions in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion.
