(34) 21-1177-S2 CD 8 CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (HARRIS-DAWSON - BLUMENFIELD) relative to a Service Payback Grant of up to $2,300,000 from the Capital and Technology Improvement Expenditure Program (CTIEP) to NHS Neighborhood Redevelopment Corporation for the Manchester Urban Homes Project located at 8721-8765 South Broadway Avenue in Council District 8. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD), or designee, to: Effectuate a Service Payback Grant of up to $2,300,000 from the CTIEP to NHS Neighborhood Redevelopment Corporation for the Manchester Urban Homes Project located at 8721-8765 South Broadway Avenue in Council District 8 and cause these funds to be transferred to the appropriate accounts for the Manchester Urban Homes Project. Draft, negotiate and execute grant documents to provide $2,300,000 of CTIEP funds for the Manchester Urban Homes Project with a deadline for expenditure of December 30, 2025, subject to review and approval of the City Attorney as to form. Prepare Controller instructions, subject to the approval of the City Administrative Officer. AUTHORIZE the Controller to implement the instructions and expend funds upon receipt of proper demand by the General Manager, LAHD, or designee.
