(13) 23-0215 CD 15 ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT and TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to the future plans of the Port of Los Angeles to utilize hydrogen energy for human-operated equipment used at port terminals in order to achieve its emission reduction goals. Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Motion (McOsker - Hutt): REQUEST the Port of Los Angeles to report on future plans to utilize hydrogen energy for any human-operated equipment that cannot utilize battery power which is used at port terminals in order to achieve its emission reduction goals. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
