ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE REPORT Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Motion (McOsker – Harris-Dawson): REQUEST the Port of Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, to report on the status of its Clean Hydrogen Hubs grant application with the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Systems, including on how the application will ensure that any hydrogen used by any City agency or department meet the definition of “green hydrogen” as described in Council file No. 23-0039, what safeguards are being proposed to protect public health and safety, award amounts, other City departments involved, the application and project timelines, and collaboration efforts with state and federal partners, environmental justice and community organizations.
