(20) 23-0278 CD 15 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to combating underpasses prone to lighting deficiencies in the Harbor Gateway area. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (McOsker – Harris-Dawson): INSTRUCT the Bureau of Street Lighting (BSL), in coordination with the City Administrative Officer (CAO), to report to the Council with a staffing plan and identified funding to combat lighting deficiencies for the underpasses listed in the Motion, attached to the Council file, as well as any remaining underpasses prone to lighting deficiencies in the Harbor Gateway area. INSTRUCT the BSL to report on creative solutions to lighting deficiencies related to underpasses, and for the potential to pilot artistic lighting solutions in the Harbor Gateway area. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
