Item No. 19. 2023-0248 CONSIDERATION OF PURSUING THE NEXT STEPS\nTO ESTABLISH A SISTER CITY AFFILIATION WITH\nAWKA, NIGERIA (CITY COUNCIL).\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. DIRECT staff to meet with the Carson Sister Cities\nAssociation's (CSCA) Nigeria subcommittee to appraise the\nbenefits of creating a sister city relationship.
