(5) 23-0228 CD 15 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the goals related to “Accessible Play” as well as the parks eligibility for upgrades to become “Universally Accessible Playgrounds”, specifically those in Council District 15, and inventory of existing “Universally Accessible Playgrounds” citywide as well as any funding needs. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (McOsker - Blumenfield): INSTRUCT the Department of Recreation and Parks, with the assistance of the City Administrative Officer (CAO), to report with an update on goals related to “Accessible Play” as well as the parks eligible for upgrades to become “Universally Accessible Playgrounds”, specifically those in Council District 15. The report should include an inventory of the existing “Universally Accessible Playgrounds” citywide as well as any funding needs for these sites. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
