(6) 23-0239 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the condition of all existing skateparks in the City, and identification of funds for a consultant team to develop a strategic plan or master plan for identifying sites for new skateparks, and related matters. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (McOsker - Soto-Martínez): INSTRUCT the Department of Recreation and Parks, and any other overseeing departments, to provide an inventory on the condition of all existing skateparks in the City. INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer (CAO) to: Identify funds for hiring of a consultant team to develop a planning exercise to develop a strategic plan or master plan for identifying sites for new skateparks as well as reporting on best practices for planning existing skateparks in the City. Report to the Neighborhoods and Community Enrichment Committee within 45 days on such funding opportunities and an outline of steps in developing such a strategic or master planning effort.
