(13) 23-0374 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a non-monetary donation of audio/visual equipment upgrades and replacements for the Los Angeles Police Department’s  (LAPD) Ahmanson Recruit Training Center to be used for the Police Orientation Preparation Program (POPP), valued at $26,839.04, from the Los Angeles Police Academy Magnet School Foundation. Recommendation for Council action: APPROVE the acceptance of a non-monetary donation of audio/visual equipment upgrades and replacements for the LAPD Ahmanson Recruit Training Center to be used for the POPP, valued at $26,839.04, from the Los Angeles Police Academy Magnet School Foundation; and, THANK the donor for this generous donation.
