(20) 23-0335 CD 14 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to designating the mid-block pedestrian crosswalks through Grand Park, between Temple and 1st Street as the “Gloria Molina Legacy Pathway." Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Rodriguez – de León – Krekorian): DESIGNATE the mid-block pedestrian crosswalks through Grand Park, between Temple and 1st Street as the “Gloria Molina Legacy Pathway.” INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) to erect permanent ceremonial sign(s) at the following crosswalk locations, between Temple Street and 1st Street: Grand Avenue: “Gloria Molina Legacy Pathway” North Hill Street: “Gloria Molina Legacy Pathway - First Latina elected to the California State Legislature” North Broadway: “Gloria Molina Legacy Pathway - First Latina elected to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors” North Spring Street: “Gloria Molina Legacy Pathway - First Latina elected to the Los Angeles City Council” INSTRUCT the LADOT to install decorative crosswalks at the aforementioned locations in order to honor Gloria Molina's legacy.
