(23) 22-0697 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT and relative to requiring the use of certified riggers for Special Events where portable audiovisual rigging is used. Recommendation for Council action: REQUEST the City Attorney to prepare and present a revised ordinance that exempts non-commercial special events that promote a public purpose and provide a public benefit as defined under the City’s Special Event Fee Subsidy Policy.
