(27) 23-0394 ADMINISTRATIVE EXEMPTION and TRADE, TRAVEL, AND TOURISM COMMITTEE REPORT relative to approving a seven-year Progressive Design-Build Contract with Skanska-Flatiron, a Joint Venture, covering Phase 1 of the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Project (ATMP) Roadway Improvements at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Recommendations for Council action: ADOPT the determination by the Board of Airport Commissioners (Board) that the action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2(i) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines. APPROVE the seven-year Progressive Design-Build Contract with Skanska-Flatiron, a Joint Venture, covering Phase 1 of the ATMP Roadway Improvements at LAX, for cost not to exceed $173,700,000. CONCUR with said Board’s action on January 19, 2023, by Board Resolution 27668, authorizing the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, Los Angeles World Airports, to execute said Contract with Skanska-Flatiron, a Joint Venture.
