Recommendation for Council action: RESOLVE that the Mayor's appointment of Mr. Mark Gonzalez to the Board of Zoo Commissioners for the term ending June 30, 2023, is APPROVED and CONFIRMED. Mr. Gonzalez resides in Council District 14. Mr. Gonzalez will fill the vacancy created by Mr. Christopher Hopkins, whom the Mayor removed effective May 5, 2023 or at the time Mr. Hopkins’ successor is confirmed by the City Council.
