Recommendation for Council action: RESOLVE that the Mayor's appointment of Mr. James Johnson to the Board of Animal Services for the term ending June 30, 2026, is APPROVED and CONFIRMED. Mr. Johnson resides in Council District 1. Mr. Johnson will fill the vacancy created by Ms. Jill Cohen, whom the Mayor removed effective May 5, 2023 or at the time Ms. Cohen’s successor is confirmed by the City Council.
