(16) 20-0841-S33 CD 15 HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to executing a lease between the City and the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA); and a sublease agreement with The Salvation Army, for a HACLA-owned property located at 2316 East Imperial Highway in Council District 15, for the operation of an A Bridge Home (ABH) interim housing facility. Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Department of General Services (GSD), or designee, to negotiate and execute a lease agreement with HACLA, and a sublease agreement with the Salvation Army for the ABH site located at 2316 East Imperial Highway in Council District 15, to operate an interim housing site under the terms and conditions substantially outlined in the GSD report dated February 23, 2023, contained in the Municipal Facilities Committee (MFC) report dated March 23, 2023, attached to Council file No. 20-0841-S33.
