(18) 22-0701 CIVIL RIGHTS, EQUITY, IMMIGRATION, AGING AND DISABILITY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to accepting grant funds from the California Department of Aging (CDA) under Area Plan Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Amendment 1, and amendments to related services agreements. Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Department of Aging (LADOA), or designee, to accept the CDA Older American Act grant funds; to execute Standard Agreement for Area Plan 2223-25 Amendment 1, and any unilateral amendments to the subgrant agreement, subject to review and approval of the City Attorney as to form and legality, and in compliance with Los Angeles Administrative Code Section 14.8 et seq. (City grant regulations); and, to AUTHORIZE the Area Plan-2223-25 Amendment 1 budget. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, LADOA, or designee, to negotiate and amend the existing agreements with various service providers, subject to review by the City Attorney as to form and legality. Ill E 191,605 Total: $1,529,724 Increase the appropriations within the Title VII Older American Act, Fund No. 564 as follows: Account Title Amount 02WB01 Ombudsman VII A Prog. $7,647 02WB02 Elder Abuse Prevention 4,362 Total: $12,009 Increase and appropriate $125,060 within the Ombudsman Initiative Program, Fund No. 46V/02, Account No. 02WC03, State Health Facilities Citation Penalties Act.
