(24) 23-1200-S95 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the appointment of Mr. Luis Sanchez to the Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners. Recommendation for Council action: RESOLVE that the Mayor's appointment of Mr. Luis Sanchez to the Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners for the term ending June 30, 2027, is APPROVED and CONFIRMED. Mr. Sanchez resides in Council District 14. Mr. Sanchez will fill the vacancy created by Lynn Alvarez, whom the Mayor removed effective May 5, 2023 or at the time Ms. Alvarez's successor is confirmed by the City Council.
