(14) 23-0563 CIVIL RIGHTS, EQUITY, IMMIGRATION, AGING AND DISABILITY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to requesting an Ordinance which would repeal Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) 14.3.1 (L) which currently imposes a series of requirements to re-establish eldercare facilities that have been abandoned or discontinued for a year. Recommendation for Council action, as initiated by Motion (Raman - Yaroslavsky): REQUEST the City Attorney to prepare and present an Ordinance, with the assistance of the Department of City Planning, which would repeal LAMC 14.3.1 (L) which currently imposes a series of requirements to re-establish eldercare facilities that have been abandoned or discontinued for a year so that the City can remove barriers to preserve eldercare facilities.
