(40) 21-1317 COMMUNICATION FROM THE CITY ATTORNEY relative to amending the contract with Colantuono, Highsmith & Whatley, PC, to increase the contract amount by an additional $70,000, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $220,000, to support the City with the case entitled Adam Hoffman v. City of Los Angeles. Recommendation for Council action: APPROVE the City Attorney recommendation to increase the contract with Colantuono, Highsmith & Whatley, PC, by an additional $70,000, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $220,000, to assist the City Attorney’s Office in the City’s defense of a putative class action lawsuit, entitled Hoffman v. City of Los Angeles.
