(15) 23-0440 CD 4 NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT and PUBLIC WORK COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to building a transit stop for southbound Western Heritage Way on the west side of Western Heritage Way near the crosswalk to the Autry Museum and in line with the existing northbound transit stop, and related matters. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Raman - Hernandez): INSTRUCT the Bureau of Engineering (BOE), with the assistance of the Bureau of Street Services, Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Department of Recreation and Parks, the Zoo Department, and any other relevant departments and agencies, to develop a project delivery plan for building a transit stop for southbound Western Heritage Way on the west side of Western Heritage Way near the crosswalk to the Autry Museum and in line with the existing northbound transit stop. The transit stop should be able to accommodate Metro 40-foot buses, be ADA accessible, and include a shelter with seating, bus stop lighting, and a trash receptacle.
