(67) 23-0713 COMMUNICATION FROM THE CITY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (CAO) relative to authority to apply for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program.  Recommendations for Council action:  AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Bureau of Engineering (BOE), or designee, to prepare a grant application for the proposal outlined in Attachment 1 of the CAO report dated June 26, 2023. INSTRUCT the General Manager, BOE, or designee, to report back if the City is awarded the grant, to request authority to accept the grant award, and to identify match and front funding.
