(2) 20-1074-S5 PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to preparing a report with recommendations to establish a programmatic Coastal Development Permit for Al Fresco outdoor dining on both private property and in the public right of way in the Coastal Zone. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Park - McOsker): INSTRUCT the Department of City Planning, with the assistance of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, Bureau of Engineering, and in consultation with the City Attorney, and the Coastal Commission, to prepare a report within 60 days with recommendations to establish a programmatic Coastal Development Permit for Al Fresco outdoor dining on both private property and in the public right of way in the Coastal Zone. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis on this report.
