(14) 23-0485 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT and ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to amending Article 7, Chapter 5 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) to make local administrative changes and incorporate by reference portions of the 2022 edition of the California Fire Code and the 2021 edition of the International Fire Code. Recommendation for Council action: PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying Ordinance, dated June 9, 2023, relative to amending Article 7, Chapter 5 of the LAMC to make local administrative changes and incorporate by reference portions of the 2022 edition of the California Fire Code and the 2021 edition of the International Fire Code.
