(11) 23-0831 CD 11 GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a renewal of the ground lease with Venice Community Housing, a non-profit organization, for the City-owned property located at 650 Westminster Avenue, Venice, CA 90291. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Park – Padilla): DIRECT the Department of General Services (GSD), with the assistance of the City Administrative Officer (CAO) and City Attorney, to negotiate a renewal of the ground lease with Venice Community Housing, a non-profit organization, for the City-owned property located at 650 Westminster Avenue, Venice, CA 90291. This lease should be at no cost, and for ten years with two, five-year options to renew.
