(8) 23-0791 CD 14 GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to a lease agreement with Kajima Development Corporation for office space located at 250 East 1st Street for the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (CHRED). Recommendation for Council action: AUTHORIZE the Department of General Services to negotiate and execute a new lease agreement between the City and Kajima Development Corporation for 5,650 square feet of office space located at 250 East 1st Street for CHRED. The proposed lease term is five years and three months, with one five-year option to extend.
