(15) 21-1015-S5 TRADE, TRAVEL AND TOURISM, ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT, and BUDGET, FINANCE AND INNOVATION COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to the preparation and submission of the grant application for the Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs Grant Program. Recommendations for Council action: AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD), or designee(s), to prepare the grant application for the proposal outlined in the Attachment of the City Administrative Officer (CAO) report dated July 18, 2023, attached to the Council file, and apply for the grant program. INSTRUCT the General Manager, EWDD, or designee(s), if awarded a grant, to request authority to accept the grant award and to identify and confirm any required match and General Fund fiscal impact.
