(1) 23-0600-S105 BUDGET, FINANCE AND INNOVATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the 2023-24 Appropriations Limit. Recommendations for Council action: PROVIDE the public, in accordance with Section 7910 of the Government Code, the opportunity to review the documentation attached to the City Administrative Officer (CAO) report dated August 15, 2023, attached to the Council file, for at least 15 days before adopting an appropriations limit for 2023-24. ADOPT the following factors to calculate the appropriations limit for 2023-24: Population Percentage Change: City -0.97% Nonresidential New Construction 6.02% ADOPT $8,008,538,281 as the appropriations limit for 2023-24.
