(15) 23-0002-S92 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position regarding support for S.1664 (Sanders  – DeLauro), the Healthy Families Act, which would establish a federal paid sick days policy for employees to earn minimum of seven paid sick days per year to care for themselves or their families. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (McOsker - Hernandez), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City's 2023-24 Federal Legislative Program SUPPORT for support for S.1664 (Sanders – DeLauro), the Healthy Families Act, which would establish a federal paid sick days policy for employees to earn minimum of seven paid sick days per year to care for themselves or their families.
