(6) 23-0935 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the creation of a Citywide equity framework that sets standards for transit-related project prioritization and resource allocation. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Hernandez – Hutt – Soto-Martínez – Harris-Dawson): INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, with the assistance of the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA) and the Civil and Human Rights Department, to report to the Council with recommendations for a Citywide equity framework that sets standards for transit-related project prioritization and resource allocation utilizing metrics and data that show where the highest need and priority exists with a focus on engaging communities and increasing safety for pedestrians, and bicyclists. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative nor the CLA has completed a financial analysis of this report.
