QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff to develop design options for a\nrecognition and appreciation plaque honoring and remembering\nCouncilmembers that served the City of West Hollywood.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to develop design options for a\nrecognition and appreciation plaque honoring and remembering City\nCouncilmembers; 2) Return to City Council with an overview of potential\noptions for the commemorative plaque, including designs for consideration\nand location prior to moving forward with installation; 3) Authorize the\nDirector of Finance and Technology Services to allocate $30,000 from\nunallocated General Fund reserves to the Special Council Programs Account\n100-1-01-00-531001 and increase the budget for Special Council Programs by\nthe same amount; and 4) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology\nServices to allocate $30,000 from Fiscal Year 2022-23 funds in the Special\nCouncil Programs account number 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated\nwith the design and installation of the plaque.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 5.B. - ATTACHMENT A\nPUBLIC CORRESPONDENCE 4.3.23
