(1) 23-0600-S37 GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS and BUDGET, FINANCE AND INNOVATION COMMITTEES’ REPORTS, and ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to authorizing the Department of General Services (GSD) to establish and collect fees at electrical vehicle charging stations within the Department’s operational control. GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE, dated June 15, 2023, adding Article 10 to Chapter 21, Division 22 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code to authorize the GSD to establish and collect fees at electrical vehicle charging stations within the Department’s operational control. BUDGET, FINANCE AND INNOVATION COMMITTEE REPORT Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: CONCUR with the September 12, 2023 actions of the Government Operations Committee. INSTRUCT the GSD to report to the Council on how to achieve uniformity with electric vehicle charging in the City. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the City Attorney.
