(7) 15-1544-S1 PERSONNEL, AUDITS, AND HIRING COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the exemption of one Principal Project Coordinator (Class Code 9134) position for the Emergency Management Department (EMD) from the Civil Service pursuant to Charter Section 1001(d)(4).    Recommendation for Council action: APPROVE the exemption of one Principal Project Coordinator (PPC), Class Code 9134, in EMD from civil service in accordance with Los Angeles City Charter Provisions Article X, Section 1001(d)(4), to continue its efforts in ensuring public health preparedness. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the EMD. Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
