(8) 23-0900-S76 CD 4 COMMUNICATION FROM THE BUREAU OF STREET LIGHTING and ORDINANCE OF INTENTION FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to establishing a hearing date for the maintenance of the Matilija Avenue and Riverside Drive Street Lighting District.​ Recommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR:​ ADOPT the report of the Director, Bureau of Street Lighting, dated November 8, 2023. PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE OF INTENTION, dated October 25, 2023, setting the date of April 2, 2024 as the hearing date for the maintenance of the Matilija Avenue and Riverside Drive Street Lighting District, in accordance with Proposition 218, Articles XIIIC and XIIID of the California Constitution and Government Code Section 53753.​ Fiscal Impact Statement: The Bureau of Street Lighting reports that if adopted, $321.67 will be collected annually starting with tax year 2023-24 that will go into a dedicated street lighting maintenance assessment account for the use in the operation and maintenance of this street lighting system.​ (Board of Public Works Hearing Date: March 27, 2024) Report from Bureau of Street Lighting dated 11-08-23 Attachment to Report dated 11-08-23 - Draft Ordinance of Intention
