Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Krekorian – McOsker – Yaroslavsky): REQUEST the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) to report on their existing process for reviewing and adopting new technologies related to solar and battery system installations in commercial and residential properties, including a specific report back on meter socket adaptors, and provide recommendations to make this review process quicker and more transparent. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
