(41) 23-0002-S97 COMMUNICATION FROM THE CHIEF LEGISLATIVE ANALYST (CLA) and RESOLUTION relative to including in the City’s 2023-24 Federal Legislative Program position support for House Resolution (HR) 6319 (Torres/ Fitzpatrick), the Supporting Accurate Views of Emergency Services Act of 2023 (911 SAVES Act). Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Hernandez – Krekorian), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2023 - 24 Federal Legislative Program SUPPORT for HR 6319 (Torres/ Fitzpatrick), the 911 SAVES Acts, which would require the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to categorize Public Safety Telecommunicators as a Protective Service Occupation under the Standard Occupational Classification System. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the CLA. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
