(19) 24-0176 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the in-kind donation of miscellaneous helicopter-related items by Leonardo Helicopters valued at approximately $150,000.00 in connection with the utilization of the AW139 aircraft for HELI-EXPO (HAI) 2024 on February 26-29, 2024, in Anaheim, California. Recommendations for Council action: APPROVE the receipt of the in-kind donation by Leonardo Helicopters for the items detailed in the January 22, 2024 Board of Fire Commissioners, attached to the Council file, valued at approximately $150,000; and, THANK the donor for this generous donation. APPROVE the utilization of the AW139 aircraft for the HAI 2024 on February 26-29, 2024, in Anaheim, California. Fiscal Impact Statement: The Board of Fire Commissioners reports that there is no fiscal impact on the Los Angeles Fire Department's budget from the acceptance of this donation. Donations provide the necessary items to meet the needs of the respective fire stations or administration sections.  Replacement or repair of items meeting City specifications and LAFD business needs may be bore by General Fund, subject to budgetary constraints.
